- Since groff is still relatively untested on the Atari ST, there may
- be bugs. Here are some warnings and known bugs.
-
-
- These programs do their job thoroughly. This means they may be slow.
- For instance, when you use `nroff', the real troff is used to typeset
- perfect output, which is then degraded to ASCII. So, be prepared to
- wait when you're formatting a man-page! (On my system, nroff will
- format a simple 2-page manpage in something like 30 seconds when I
- don't use GEM. When you do this from a toswin, it'll take over a minute.)
-
-
- When a program doesn't work properly (i.e. crashes), first try to
- increase the stacksize using `fixstk'. Currently, the stacksize has
- been set to 0 (8 Kb), which works fine for me. However, should you
- you experience any problems, please try increasing the stacksize,
- and mail me a bug-report.

-
- The dvi screen driver A-Screen 3.2 has some problems with the dvi files
- produced by groff. First of all, don't set the page margins, because they
- will be magnified incredibly. Secondly, groff output pre-processed by
- `tbl' or `eqn' won't be shown correctly. The author of A-Screen,
- Anselm Lignau, is aware of these problems. Presumably, they'll be fixed
- in a future release. Since Anselm is busy writing his master's thesis,
- please forgive him any delays. Thanks anyway for writing A-Screen, Anselm!
-
-
- Currently, I don't know of any other bugs. However, if and when they crop
- up, please mail me a bug-report. I'll try and fix any bugs soonest.
